Making space for hard conversations is part of the integration process. Safety isn’t silence, it’s presence, honesty, and compassion. This is how transformation becomes real.

In our 12-week training program, we go beyond the highlight moments: exploring what integration truly means, even when it’s uncomfortable. We talk about the hard parts, the trauma that surfaces, and the confusing moments after a journey when nothing seems to make sense. Because real healing happens when we can stay curious, grounded, and connected…no matter what arises.

Feeling quite sad today. I lost one of my sweet precious ducks, Newt. I hatched her myself, and when she was just a baby she used to curl up on my neck to sleep. You guys have no idea how much joy I get from watching these little creatures run around and interact with each other. I never thought I’d be a duck person- until I got ducks. They have such strong personalities and emotions. & Did you know that ducks can grieve too? Sometimes when they lose a beloved family member they will get so upset that they can stop eating/drinking all together. Newt’s brother, Buckbeak, who she was very bonded to is looking everywhere for her and quacking more than usual- and it’s heartbreaking. My ducks are just as much a part of my family as any other member and I love them all just the same.

Through life experience & plant medicine, I’ve learned about the seasons of life… how everything blooms, fades, and transforms. But knowing that still doesn’t make loss any easier. Sometimes the only thing we can do is give ourselves permission to feel it. To sit in the sadness and let it move through, instead of trying to push it away.

Today I’m just letting myself be sad. And that’s okay.
