As part of a grant UCC has, we have the privilege of providing mental wellness workshops to senior citizens residing in Denver-based high-rises.

Last month, we facilitated an extraordinary workshop on Heart Memories, where we gifted each participant a beautifully crafted wooden box to treasure their cherished memories.

Today, one gentleman's heartfelt presentation of his finished box left us deeply moved, as he shared the profound impact it has had on his life, particularly in remembering his beloved wife whom he lost a few years ago.

The meticulous details and love that went into crafting his memory box were truly remarkable; another participant also had the courage to share her completed box!

We feel profoundly blessed to be doing this meaningful work!

Our hearts overflow with joy! This is the profound impact of mental health support!❤️🙌🏾❤️‍🩹👏🏾🫶🏾🤗

Today's workshop on Healthy Movement with seniors living at the high-rise was truly uplifting. We discovered the transformative benefits of healthy movement, participated in live demonstrations of movement, and created a coping skill rice socks with a hint of their favorite essential oils to be used as heating or ice packs.

This was incredibly heartwarming as they had a blast and genuinely enjoyed themselves! We are passionate about empowering others!💓😊🎉
