Last week’s roundup of training! I hit all of the training I wanted, minus one swim session because I was deceased 😂

Last week’s training stats:
🏋️‍♀️ 5 weightlifting sessions
⚡️1 hyrox conditioning session
🏊‍♀️ 1 swim session (goal was 2)
🚴‍♀️3 bike sessions
🏃‍♀️ 2 run sessions (1 road, 1 trail)

I have a triathlon relay where I’m doing the 26 mile bike leg this Saturday, so going to ease on the leg sessions by Wednesday this week so that my legs feel fresh!

Overall I’m feeling really good and motivated! My sights are on a potential Ironman 70.3 in December so…we’ll see 👀🤘

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a weekly training recap!!! Don’t worry I haven’t been slacking, I’ve just been slacking at posting 😂🫣

I’m wanting to increase my volume a little more but struggling to find the time, life has been busssyyyyy. Still happy with how last week went, including an open water swim yay!!

Goal this week: bike 2x, run 2x, swim 2x, lift 4-5x, hyrox 1x

Last week’s training recap 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🏊‍♀️

Training has ramped and it’s been SO fun!! I’ve actually been loving my bike trainer and just sitting and cruising on the bike. Also have been kind of enjoying runs on the treadmill?? Idk what that psycho behavior is about but that’ll be changing to outdoor runs now that the weather is good 😂

I had a brick session of a 2 hour bike into a 20 minute run and couldn’t believe how good I felt. It was honestly really encouraging that working so hard for so long has paid off and has given my body the endurance to do things like this with little to no fatigue/soreness.

I slacked a little on the swimming and am hoping to increase that a little more this upcoming week! I’m visiting my family in AZ for the first half of the week so I don’t have access to a pool and all training is inside since it’s so hot 🫠

Excited for the week, let’s make it a good one 🤟

Weekly roundup of training!! I’m ramping up triathlon training and getting some more miles in on the bike and in the pool.

Had a big bric session on Saturday with a 2 hour bike and 15 minute run and felt surprisingly good! It was a good confidence boost and encouraging to know that my work has paid off to keep me in good shape 🥳

My legs definitely feel fatigued so taking today a little easier so I can hit the rest of this week hard. Adding in some hyrox workouts has definitely helped with my overall fitness as well and has been a fun switch up!

Some recents from this past week of training!

Honestly, I’m just having fun and LOVING all of my training. I know it’s going to ramp up pretty hard in the next month or so, so for now I’m just enjoying being able to run and train however I want with no expectation. The hard work is coming soon enough…and don’t get me wrong I’m working hard now too 😂

Have some fun with exercise this week, it’ll do wonders for mental health 🫶🏻

Slowly ramping up training cause I’m hopefully soon prepping for an Ironman 70.3!!!

It’s a goal that scares me so much…running a half marathon AFTER already swimming and biking 🫣🫠 but that’s why I want to do it!!

This is your sign to do something that scares you!! You’ll be so proud of yourself and being uncomfortable is where you’ll grow.

2nd half marathon of the summer done!!! I can’t believe this time last year the longest I could physically run was a 5k.

I’m really happy with how this one went, I’m recovering a lot better than my last half and that was one of my biggest goals. While this time was slower than the previous, it was a fraction of the elevation loss so overall I think I actually did better comparatively.

My main goals were more soft goals focused around feeling better and recovering better (I felt like death after the last one 😂) so I’m really happy with this one!

I think next up I’m going back to some triathlons….stay tuned 👀👀🤭
