π Preparing for BBL + Hero / IPL Photofacial: What not to do before the session π
Dear Friends, If you are planning to undergo a BBL + Hero or IPL Photofacial procedure, it is important to properly prepare for your session for the best results. Please note the following recommendations on what not to do before your procedure:
1οΈβ£ Avoid Tanning: A couple weeks before your session, try to avoid spending time in the sun and eliminate tanning beds. UV rays can increase skin sensitivity and reduce the effectiveness of the procedure.
2οΈβ£ Don't use retinoids: 3-7 days before your procedure, avoid using products with retinoids or other strong exfoliants. They can make your skin more vulnerable and sensitive.
3οΈβ£ Skip Intense Peels: Refrain from deep chemical peels and mechanical exfoliation 1-2 weeks before your procedure to minimize skin irritation.
4οΈβ£ Avoid certain medications: Consult your doctor about the medications you are taking. Some, such as aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, can increase the risk of bleeding and bruising.
5οΈβ£ Don't abuse alcohol: It's best to avoid alcohol 24-48 hours before your procedure, it can affect vascular tone and increase the risk of redness.
6οΈβ£ Make sure you do not have any active infections: If you have any signs of skin infections or inflammation, it is better to postpone the session until they are fully healed.
