Good article take a look if you like Osha. I use loveage root and elecampane to great effect. I tend to use Osha only in very special circumstances and only if I get it in a sustainable manner. We should definitely respect our plants and cherish them so that they can continue on this journey with us. You should always be able to track your herbs to their harvest location and manner. Either personally or through the company you bought them from.

Smoke-Free Herbal Scents
This time of year, I love having seasonal scents in my home, whether from baking, cooking, or burning incense, but I don’t always want smoke in the house. Placing simple herbs from the kitchen on top of an aroma tea light warmer works amazingly well.

Herbal processing Melissa officinalis, Lemon Balm; good for its calming anti-depressant qualities. I love it in my teas and salves. I frequently cook with fresh lemon balm with fish or chicken and in my lovely shrimp cakes. ❤ I love how lemony the leaves smell and how green the dried leaves came out.
