This Memorial Day, we honor the legacy of all fallen service members who gave their lives in service to our nation.

We thank them and their families for their sacrifice.

We also take this opportunity to recognize and thank the veterans on our team, including our Military Veterans at Ardent Mills (MVAM) employee resource group (ERG).

Dedicated to fostering collaboration among veterans, promoting volunteerism, mentoring across our locations and actively recruiting future team members with military experience, MVAM embodies our value of serving and strengthens our commitment to building an inclusive, purpose-driven culture grounded in meaningful connections and community.

May we honor the memory of those we’ve lost and reflect on the freedoms their service has made possible.

Every April, Month of Service brings our teams across North America together to live our value of Serving through meaningful action in our communities where we live and work.

This year, our teams made incredible impact:

• 4,444 volunteer hours contributed in April alone — putting us on pace to reach 12,500 hours by fiscal year-end
• 81% site participation across our network
• More than 550 volunteers engaged in approximately 300 volunteer activities
• 105 blood units donated by 75 team members

And the impact extends far beyond April. Throughout FY26, we’ve donated 228,373 pounds of Ardent Mills products and essential goods to support communities in need.

Behind every number are team members choosing to show up, give back and make a difference. From supporting local food banks and community organizations to donating blood, our people demonstrated the powerful impact we can create together.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talents and passion throughout our Month of Service. Together, we’re building stronger communities and living our values in action.

We’re honored to share that Ardent Mills received the Global Pulse Confederation - GPC Pulses Sustainability Leadership Award at the Pulse 26 Conference last week.

With more than 1,000 delegates from 50 countries, the event highlighted the work happening across the value chain and the importance of strong partnerships as the industry continues working together to scale solutions that meet consumer expectations.

The discussion at this year’s conference reinforced the growing opportunity for pulses as consumers turn to foods that deliver enhanced nutrition, functional benefits and sustainability.

We’re proud of our role in bringing these trusted ingredients to consumers across North America, and we look forward to continuing to meet this moment alongside our customers, growers and partners.

The projected global CAGR of commercial egg replacers from 2026 to 2031 is 7.78%* – and for good reason.

If you haven’t already explored Ardent Mills® Egg Replace, now is the perfect time. Our vegan, chickpea-based egg alternative can help your organization replace up to 100% of eggs in baked goods, without sacrificing performance.

We honor the legacy of the first Japanese immigrants who arrived in 1843 and recognize the rich cultures, histories and traditions represented across AANHPI communities – from East, Southeast and South Asia to Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander heritages.

Ardent Mills is committed to amplifying diverse voices and fostering a workplace and community where diversity is not only welcomed but celebrated. We also recognize and thank our Asian Pacific Americans at Ardent Mills (APAAM) employee resource group (ERG) for its leadership and continued advocacy across our organization.

The future of milling? “It’s a network – a vast, interconnected community of people, processes and purpose,” according to Scott Roush, director of technical milling at Ardent Mills.

With more than 20 years in the industry, Scott is helping lead milling into the digital era. IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers) sat down with him to discuss his journey – from engineering student to technical milling executive – and to explore his belief that people are at the heart of the next era of milling.

Ardent Mills was honored to serve as a Gold Sponsor of the 40th National MANRRS Conference (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences), celebrating four decades of leadership in advancing inclusion, opportunity and excellence across agriculture, natural resources and related sciences.

We believe people do their best work when they can be themselves and feel heard, valued and included. It’s this belief that makes our partnership with MANRRS so impactful.

Throughout the conference, we connected with students and professionals, fostering meaningful dialogue — including a full workshop on inclusive supply chains and engagement during the General Session. These moments brought to life how inclusion, sustainability and leadership move forward best when working in harmony.

A special thank you to BrightMa Farms for their partnership and support of our workshop. Your perspective helped spark a powerful discussion that challenged thinking and ignited the minds of the next generation in agriculture.

The future of ag is stronger when all belong.

Environmental progress is built on a foundation of everyday action – from communities investing in ecosystems to innovators advancing solutions.

Ardent Mills is committed to showing up with intention at every stage of the food system we touch. That’s why we set out to support growers investing in regenerative agriculture, advance more sustainable operations and help our customers reduce their environmental impact in the products they bring to shelves.

By the numbers, in our last fiscal year we:

• Enrolled 516,000 acres in regenerative agriculture, supporting soil health and water conservation.
• Achieved 42.9% renewable energy usage across operations.
• Eliminated 240,000+ pallet wraps, avoiding ~92,300 pounds of plastic.
• Avoided an estimated 68 metric tons of CO2e.

For Earth Day 2026, we’re affirming our commitment to doing our part – alongside our partners, customers and team members – to reduce our environmental impact wherever possible and to continue to invest in the future of food.
