What was supposed to be my last spray tan of the day turned into a cozy tea ceremony + face-reading—and it ended up being exactly what she needed.

2 AM, new moon — behind the curtain: I’m resetting hexagrams for friends & clients who asked. The hexagram is a barcode above your door of your space that is like a radio tower that sends out the frequencies. When you set this on a grid, only aligned energy can tune into it.

My brother Tan is 32nd and just got married. We are very proud of who he’s become and really surprised by all his dance moves during the wedding and how he planned out everything so thoroughly. —

We somewhat worried about him as he was growing up because he’s the youngest, and my mom would say something in Vietnamese that meant “he’s not very smart” Totally wrong!

🧝His ears are small and set high — he soaks up info in a flash and applies it instantly, guided by feeling because his third zone is the biggest.

👄Full, abundant lips make him a natural communicator and supporter.

His ambitious nose says he enjoys the fruits of his labor and loves to share.

So no — he wasn’t “not clever”; he’s beautifully naïve, believing in the goodness of others, and that innocence is him living in his element.

Think car trips are for singing? My brother Trung used to hold a fart all day and bless my car with the grand finale—traumatic and hilarious.

Now he tells his kids to “let them know” if they fart, and when his kid proudly announced a fart at a friend’s house (and the mom gaslit him with “you don’t ever tell people that you fart”) we couldn’t stop laughing.

I told Bella the story and on vacation she retold it so perfectly it became our family’s new inside joke—cue full-restaurant giggles.
