❤️ Today, we honor a very special couple from Dungarvin’s history. Bob and Faith’s story is a true testament to love, growth, and belonging.
In March 1976, they became among the first residents of Dungarvin’s very first home in St. Paul—leaving Faribault State Hospital and stepping into community living for the first time. Though the transition was new and sometimes overwhelming, they thrived—and found something even more special: each other.
From their early days on Como Place to moving into a smaller home in Roseville, Bob and Faith were inseparable. Their journey continued as they became part of their foster care providers - Cathy and Roy’s family, building deep connections and a true sense of home.
With the support of those around them, Bob and Faith were married in 1991 in a joyful celebration. Thanks to the continued care and commitment, they were able to remain in the home they loved—together—for the rest of their lives.
A beautiful reminder of what community, support, and love can create and we’re so thankful that they have such a special place in Dungarvin’s heart!
