Do you ever watch the sun rise?
About ten years ago, my dear friend Pam—a gifted intuitive—suggested I make it a daily practice. I tried a few times, but like many practices, it fell away for a myriad of reasons.
Recently, I’ve returned to it.
Each morning, I watch the sunrise from my bedroom window, often with meditation music playing—whatever feels most supportive in that moment (YouTube has some beautiful options). I breathe. I slow down. I ground. I share the quiet with my little four-leggeds.
It’s become a gentle morning meditation—one that helps me start the day centered within myself, so I can meet others more fully present and embodied.
If you feel called, I invite you to try something similar. You don’t need a perfect view or a long ritual. Simply pause. Watch the light change. Breathe. Let yourself arrive in the day before the day arrives in you.
