Emily and Jess were out and about in Northern Colorado on Monday, July 7th, visiting a variety of pharmacy sites across the region—from independent pharmacies to a hospital and a corporate office. Stops included Flatirons Family Pharmacy, Berthoud Drug, Columbine Drug, City Drug, the Good Day Pharmacy Corporate Office, and UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to connect with us and share a bit about their work and community.

Apply to CDPHE’s Prescription Accessibility Grant Program! The program is awarding grants to pharmacies so they can access labeling equipment to comply with new accessibility requirements.

A 2024 law requires pharmacies to make their prescription labels accessible upon request. This can refer to applying electronic labels, a prescription drug label in large print or braille, or other methods at no cost to patients and or caretakers.
