Our Story

Therapy empowers offers therapy for kids aged three to eleven years old who have experienced trauma and abuse. The facility welcomes these kids and their families. Therapy Empowers has positioned itself as a place of nurturing, healing, and recovery. It embraces the idea that the success of any therapy or intervention needs a solid support group that will always make kids feel safe and loved.

Therapy emPOWERS has set itself apart from other therapy providers by taking a grounded approach. This means that, for one, Teresa doesn’t overwhelm her clients and their families or guardians with clinical theories. She takes time to get to know them and find out more about them. It is important for her to forge genuine friendships with them. She wants them to know that she will do her best to help them become strong enough to overcome the challenges they face.

At Therapy emPOWERS, we off several services to fit your needs: yoga therapy, play therapy, individual therapy, and energy healing. All services are offered in ASL and English.
