While the challenges that occur during the formative years are common, they continue to be anxiety provoking for parents and the community. With guidance, a young person can begin to develop skills to thrive at home, school and in their community. While “bumps in the road” prepare a young person for adulthood, minimizing the harm from these high risk situations is important.
