✨ Friendly Insurance Reminder for Our Families ✨
We’ve noticed an increase since the beginning of the year in insurance plans assigning patients to a different Primary Care Provider (P*P), often without families realizing it.
This can sometimes lead to visits being processed as out-of-network, which may result in unexpected out-of-pocket costs
To help avoid this, we recommend taking a quick moment to:
✔️ Contact your insurance company
✔️ Confirm your child’s assigned P*P
✔️ Verify that our office is listed as in-network under your specific plan
Some insurance companies will allow you to verify and update your P*P directly from their patient portals. If you are unable to use a portal, you can contact your insurance company using the number on the back of your member card and your insurance provider can usually make that change for you right away.
A quick check now can save you from surprise bills later!
