Very much like the animal kingdom, the human nervous system and hormone system was designed to only be in states of stress for short intervals.
The sympathetic (fight or flight, aka stress) state is designed for emergency situations. The parasympathetic state (rest, digest, procreate, recover) is designed to be the body natural setting for MAJORITY of the day, week, month, year.
BUT in modern society, most people live in the sympathetic state. The constant chemical soup of this state is a major contributing factor to disease and disorders.
AND it’s the opposing state of our bodies’s healing and recovery systems.
So ask yourself… Are you living in ease or disease?
