Fun fact—gravity exists, and you can actually use it to your advantage!

💪 Better options that help your baby make their grand entrance:

✅ Hands & Knees – Because no one wants back labor.
✅ Squatting – Gravity’s BFF. Makes pushing way more effective.
✅ Side-lying – If you want to rest while birthing a whole human.

✨ Why it matters: Your pelvis actually opens wider, your baby moves down easier, and spoiler alert—it can make pushing way faster. So unless you love making things harder for yourself, try switching it up.

💡 Pro tip: Move. Shift. Listen to your body. It knows what to do. 💛

Think labor is just ‘breathe and push’? Oh honey, let me spill the tea. ☕

Labor is a marathon, not a sprint (and no, there’s no medal at the end—but there IS a baby 🎉).

Here’s what I wish I knew before my first contraction:

🔥 You WILL need snacks. (Seriously, pack your favorite trail mix.)
🔥 Pacing yourself is key—because you don’t want to be ‘that mom’ who’s too tired to push.
🔥 Birth plans are great, but knowing how to handle the unexpected is gold.

That’s why the Managing Expectations section of our Childbirth Education course is basically the best thing you can do for yourself (besides prepping for your little one’s big arrival).
