Many Colorado families are eligible for tax credits. These tax credits provide parents with extra income that can go towards what they need most, like groceries, transportation, or child care.

People do not need to earn much to qualify for the FATC, CTC, or EITC - but they do need to file a federal and/or state tax return to receive these credits.

Families with children aged 16 or younger may qualify for up to $3,200 per child from the FATC credit alone.

Visit Get Ahead Colorado https://www.getaheadcolorado.org/ to estimate your refund using the Colorado tax credit calculator.

Whether it’s tax credits that put more money in your pocket, free online tax filing services, or free in-person tax help – we’re here to help you get the most out of your taxes.

Have you noticed that your toddler is suddenly nursing more than before?

[Image Description] Photo of a toddler smiling. Text next to the photo reads, "Even a toddler who doesn't nurse often anymore will breastfeed with increased frequency during periods of sickness or stress. Got a cold? Moving to a new home? Starting a new daycare? Expect more nursing." The La Leche League USA logo is below the text.

As your child grows, offering a variety of foods helps them get the vitamins and minerals they need to thrive. You don’t have to do it perfectly every day. Small steps add up to big nutritional wins! 🙌
