Our Story

Partners in Pediatrics is an integrative pediatric healthcare practice with offices in Denver and Centennial. We combine our knowledge of holistic and conventional medicine practices to provide compassionate, comprehensive pediatric care.

Our practice was formed in 1977. Healthcare has made great advances since then, and though our knowledge and tools have evolved with the times, our goal is the same as it was in 1977: provide the highest quality and most comprehensive integrative pediatric healthcare available in a private-practice setting.

As a group practice, we each share in the care of all our patients. Everyone on the team is familiar with your experiences and records, so you’re always with a trusted, knowledgeable provider. We firmly believe that PIP can provide you with the continuity of care that will help your child thrive.

Medicine is, and should be, a service profession. Our practice and our reputation are built on that simple value. Our providers’ mission and vision.

Integrative and Holistic Health Care

All of our providers received their primary medical training in conventional medical schools. While recognizing the strengths of conventional approaches to illness and wellness, we also recognize that there are many other ways of achieving wellness. These healing arts are often referred to by conventional doctors as complementary and alternative or holistic. Integrative medicine references integrating the conventional medical model with these holistic approaches into one seamless healthcare approach. It is the "big picture" approach, including the mental, nutritional and spiritual roots of physical health. We have been practicing this way for many years, and are proud to be one of Denver’s best and most established integrative pediatrics offices.

Our View on Vaccines

Vaccines get much media and parental attention. We understand why. We listen to you. We don’t lecture but we will review at each well-care visit the current recommendations for your child. We help clarify the risks of preventable illnesses that your child may face. We firmly believe in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) evidence-based guidelines, and recommend that parents adhere to them. While we support and follow the AAP and CDC’s guidelines through the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) vaccine schedule, we are willing to work with you on an alternative schedule. In that and all things, we respect your decisions about the solutions, therapies and practices that best fit your family. Should you decide to decline a vaccine we recommend for your child, you will be required to sign a waiver, confirming your understanding.
