Don't let one persons biases control your life. I hear a lot of therapists these days moving backwards and putting the blame game on peoples discomfort trying to correlate it with their posture.
Your posture has nothing to do with your pain. The body is adaptable. You are ever changing and yes your posture will look different over years. Posture is a resting position and we rest to help us recover. How we look will be different from person to person because of our DNA, genetics, environment, our history, our own biases, and our current motor control.
Bones are different shapes and sizes with each person if your 4 feet tall you will look much different than someone who is 7 feet tall and that is okay. Your organs are all different shapes and all moving constantly forcing your structure to work around with what you go.
If someone blames your posture on your pain or movement disfunction thank them for their time and take walk away. Blame has no part in education of how to move more efficiently for your sport or goals.
