NNOHA, alongside Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors - ASTDD and American Association of Public Health Dentistry- AAPHD, has issued a Call to Action urging the philanthropic community to step forward in response to recent federal cuts to oral health programs. These changes jeopardize decades of progress in prevention, workforce development, and equitable access. NNOHA remains committed to supporting our members and the health centers they serve, ensuring the voices of safety-net providers are elevated in this critical moment.

Together, we can protect progress and accelerate innovative solutions for oral health as part of overall health.

🎉 Congratulations to the health centers of the 2024-2025 NNOHA Integrating Diabetes and Oral Health Learning Collaborative! 🎉

These 7 health centers applied quality improvement skills to improve outcomes for their patients with diabetes. They worked hard to increase collaboration among their medical and dental providers and staff, to increase the number of dual users of medical and dental services, and to provide excellent whole-person care to their patients. The project was funded through NNOHA's National Training and Technical Assistance Partnership with the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA)

➡️ Interested in joining the next cohort? Applications for the 2025-2026 Collaborative will open later this summer!
