With 15 years in healthcare and 10 years as a nurse, Kalee has cared for patients in critical care, long-term acute care, and acute rehab settings. Her passion has always been patient advocacy and making sure those in need of care and their families feel supported, heard, and cared for every step of the way.

In addition to her nursing background, Kalee brings valuable experience in business development for post-acute care, giving her a unique perspective on both the clinical and relational sides of healthcare. Now, as Business Development Manager at Extended Family Home Care, she combines her skills to build meaningful community partnerships that connect families with the care they need.

Guided by our values of hope, integrity, loyalty, and compassion, Kalee is dedicated to helping families find the right support. She brings the same energy and joy to her personal life that she shares with the families she serves.

We loved being able to send our caregivers’ children off with backpacks for the new school year. It’s a small way for us to show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication our caregivers give every day. Thank you for sharing your families with us and allowing us to be part of these special moments. We are so thankful for Sam, one of our amazing caregivers who always goes above and beyond for our clients, especially when we find ourselves in a pickle.

Sam has been with Extended Family Home Care for almost two years. She is our go-to weekend lead caregiver, stepping in wherever she’s needed, helping with introductions for new caregivers, and making sure all the little (and big) things that need to get done are taken care of.

Outside of work, Sam is a busy mom and even with her full plate at home, she still shows up with a smile, a calm presence, and a heart full of compassion.

Sam, your dedication and kindness mean the world to all of us at Extended Family Home Care. We are so lucky to have you on our team.

Please join us in celebrating Hannah, who has been part of the Extended Family Home Care team for two wonderful years. From the moment she joined us, she has brought such a kind, calming energy to everything she does, especially in her role supporting our recruitment efforts. She has played a big part in helping us find and welcome so many of the compassionate caregivers who make our team what it is today. Her patience, dedication, and genuine care for people shine through in every conversation, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our work family. Thank you, Hannah, for all you do. Last Friday we got to celebrate 4 years of Brittney’s ownership—and wow, what a great turnout. It was such a fun day filled with laughter, catching up, and connecting with so many people who make our work meaningful.

We’re so grateful for the partnerships we’ve built within the senior community, and events like this are a reminder of just how special that connection is.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day so memorable. We truly appreciate you.

Christine stopped by to visit one of our favorite couples today—just a quick check-in and a chance to drop off some cookies. They’ve been part of our Extended Family for almost two years now, and they truly mean the world to us. It’s little moments like this that remind us how lucky we are to do what we do.

We had such a great time at last month’s Wine Down Wednesday at it was a fun paint and sip night with lots of laughs, creativity, and good company.

We’re taking a break this month to celebrate a special milestone—our 4-year anniversary under Brittney’s ownership! We hope you can join us for the celebration. Please RSVP if you plan to attend tomorrow—we’d love to see you there!
