At The Denver Hospice, this training helps us care for each person with empathy, comfort, and dignity, tailoring our approach to what matters most to them. Because every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and at peace.

When Americans are asked what matters most in their final months, four things consistently rise to the top:

- Knowing their wishes will be honored
- Having choices in their care
- Personalized pain management
- Emotional support for them and their loved ones

At The Denver Hospice, we’re proud to provide care that supports all of these priorities, ensuring every patient’s journey is met with dignity, comfort, and compassion.

Happy CNA Week to the amazing Certified Nursing Assistants at The Denver Hospice!

Hospice care asks for something rare—an ability to sit with people in their most vulnerable moments, to provide comfort when there are no easy answers.

That’s what our CNAs do every day.

They care for our patients with incredible skill, but even more powerful is how they care—with gentleness, presence, and respect. Whether it’s holding a hand, helping with daily needs, or simply being there, they are the heartbeat of our care.

To every CNA on our team: thank you. You bring light to difficult days, and your work doesn’t go unnoticed. 💙

Their calm presence, listening hearts, and tireless dedication bring peace to countless individuals facing serious illness and end-of-life journeys.

Whatever the setting, our goal is the same: to improve the quality of life of those we serve by addressing their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center at Lowry has 24 suites with patios. Our homelike setting is centrally located and includes such amenities as a family dining room and day rooms, a chapel, library and hydro-therapy spa outfitted with a salon-style basin. Gardens, walkways and high-tech innovations add to the light-filled ambiance and comforts of our state-of-the-art facility.

Our mission is to encircle those facing advanced illness with unprecedented levels of comfort, compassion and expertise. For 41 years, more than 64,000 patients and their family members have turned to us for care and comfort during difficult times.

As Colorado's leader in hospice and palliative care we are committed to caring for everyone who comes through our door wherever they call home.
