Range of Motion Project

Range of Motion Project The Range of Motion Project, a 501(c)(3), aims to provide prosthetic limbs and orthotic braces to those without resources throughout the world.

9 out of 10 amputees worldwide do NOT have access to quality prosthetic care. The Range of Motion Project (ROMP) believes that amputees are not disabled because of a missing limb, but because of a missing prosthesis. ROMP was founded to create a more equal distribution of prosthetic services throughout the world.

ROMP’s Global warehouse in Denver is one of the world’s largest prosthetic recycling operations.

Together with numerous Colorado volunteers, our warehouse associate turns hundreds of boxes of donations into highly useful feet, knees, and other items to keep our Guatemala and Ecuador clinics fueled with what they need to provide care year round.

Today is Colorado Gives Day, an opportunity for you to donate locally to impact mobility globally. Help us make immobility a thing of the past from right here in Colorado.

ROMP is taking on a huge task - to meet the demand and to share our model.

To make this possible, we will increase component recycling by clinics in the United States. That means raising awareness and opening more hubs.

We're just four days away from Giving Tuesday, 2 December. Giving $50 will enable us to get a box of recycled feet to our clinics.

Be part of history on this Tuesday at the link in our bio.

ROMP has a bold new strategy to make immobility a thing of the past.

One key element is sharing the ROMP model with the rest of the world. That means training and equipping other organizations to mobilize their patients with amputation.

We need your help this Giving Tuesday, 2 December. A gift of $150 will help us train a community health worker to support people with limb loss in their community.

Donate at the link in our bio to be part of this historic moment.

In 2025, Hanger Clinic’s support made hands-on care possible across 3 volunteer programs in Guatemala and Ecuador.

13 dedicated volunteers worked side by side to cast, fabricate, and fit prostheses for patients, supported by 586 lbs of donated components.

Together, we’re making immobility a thing of the past!

From our first steps in Guatemala in 2005 to our leap to Ecuador in 2017, ROMP keeps fighting to ensure access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved people.

Our work is driven by a vision of world where all people with limb loss have mobility, and guided by our values of human dignity, empowerment, sustainability, and community.

We’ve had a lot of historic moments in the past 20 years. This one is the biggest yet: to make immobility a thing of the past, once and for all.

✨ Help us make change history. Donate today to turn the page on the days when not everyone received care.

Today, less than month out from our climb, we are excited to share our climber spotlight with Taylor Haines, Tanner Jones, Bri Daniels, and Santino Martirano who are all climbing Cotopaxi for ROMP Global, so much of which is made possible by our support from Overwatch x Rescue!

Help us in reaching our goal of $130,000 to make immobility a thing of the past! (link in bio)
As a lifelong amputee and prosthesis user, Taylor strives to always find ways to adapt and overcome, so she can live her fullest life!  Growing up in Alaska, and now living in Portland OR, Taylor likes to travel the world — when she can — to experience new cultures, foods, and adventures!  This will be her third time Climbing for ROMP.

Tanner climbs with ROMP to give access to prosthetics and to show what’s possible with mobility. “I have been a below the knee amputee on my right side for 4 years and truly believe I got my mobility back after my amputation. My goals are to raise 10k this year for ROMP and climb alongside patients, amputees and allies to show the world how badass ROMP is.”

Bri Daniels is a two-time cancer survivor and below-knee amputee based in Bozeman, MT. After losing her leg at 18, she found healing and purpose through adaptive recreation and community. With experience working in the adaptive sports space and a passion for access and inclusion, she’s joining the ROMP team to help others discover the freedom and joy that mobility can unlock.

Santino, this year’s expedition leader is a documentary photographer, alpinist, and OxR ambassador who has been climbing for ROMP since 2021 and hopes to help make immobility a thing of the past. “I didn’t know I could take my mobility for granted until I climbed with ROMP, now every climb has a greater purpose.”
