The Mile High approach is an integrated care that utilizes components proven effective by the heavily researched matrix model.
We emphasize empowering our clients with the skills and tools to be effective in early recovery and long term maintenance.
Since its inception, the effectiveness of the Matrix IOP Model has been evaluated numerous times by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, SAMHSA.
SAMHSA’s mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities.
This agency leads the public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation.
Structured and Therapeutic
The Mile High Continuing Care’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). provides a structured and therapeutic treatment experience for clients with all substance use disorders.
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a continuing step, and a next step for many on the path of recovery from substance use disorders.
Our IOP program offers group and individual services.
What is an IOP or Intensive Outpatient Program?
A Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program is a primary treatment program recommended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment.
IOP may be recommended for those who do not need medically-supervised detox.
IOP can also enable people in recovery to continue their recovery therapies following successful detox, on a part-time yet intensive schedule, designed to accommodate work and family life.
Start rebuilding your personal life and mending your important family ties right away, when you live at home and participate in intensive outpatient treatment.
With our Mile High Continuing Care Intensive Outpatient Treatment program you are able to establish a solid and strong foundation for long term success in recovery.
Our Schedule and Group Dynamics
Our IOP schedule and group dynamics allows our clients to be able to participate in their personal daily affairs, such as work or school, and then participate in our program afterwards.
We do strongly encourage and require active participation in a structured mutual aid recovery program. This is a key component to success in long-term recovery.
Our clients receive information, assistance and support in structuring a substance-free lifestyle.
Also we assist, encourage and support them in achieving and maintaining this new life-style, abstinence from drugs and alcohol.
