As a mother of a 33-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome, I know the joys and challenges of being a family caregiver. That’s why in 2016, I created my own agency after feeling like other major companies in Colorado were under paying and under supporting family caregivers. I wanted to create an agency that prioritizes families by giving as much money to the families as possible and providing the support/education they need to succeed. Today, we are recognized as a top parent-selected agency as we pay the highest rates in Colorado and provide exceptional support

Today our staff was at the Colorado Capitol to celebrate Disability Rights Advocacy Day. Our team was there to join in the celebration and monitor the Legislature's efforts to set Medicaid rates for the next fiscal year.

Our Story

I am a parent of a 30-year old with Down Syndrome. I began providing services under the Family Caregiver Act in 2012 and was hired as an independent contractor at one of the major PASAs in our community. Over the years, the PASA continued to increase its fees, so in 2017, I created my own Program Approved Service Agency (PASA) for the State of Colorado Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Waiver programs to help Family Caregivers. We believe the family caregiver should retain the bulk of the money for providing services to their loved one and as such, we pay the highest rates to our family caregivers.
