Tell me if this sounds familiar…
You know that working out is important for your overall health and you try to add it in by buying a gym membership, maybe hiring a personal trainer, or by committing to a new fitness program that you will follow each day at home, without fail.
And maybe you have success with that for a little while but then life happens, you stop going to the gym (or it temporarily closes and throws you off your routine or schedule), you can’t afford to continue the personal training sessions, or you’ve missed two days in a row from your program and can’t seem to get “back on the bandwagon”.
The next thing you know, the very thought of exercising or working out makes you want to crawl back in bed and hide. And you hate yourself for it.
Been there?
So have I. And I realized, after riding that rollercoaster one too many times, that if I truly wanted to stop feeling like a failure and hating the very thought of intentional movement or activity, something really had to change.
It wasn’t until I changed my focus and stopped obsessing about having to exercise or workout “a certain way'', and instead focused on finding the joy in simply moving my body more that I was able to actually see long term results in my journey. Which is why this month I am hosting a free 5 day challenge called Get Moving.
Every day for 5 days, I will be sharing some of my most valuable lessons on why focusing on movement rather than working out is your friend and how adding more movement in your day is both easier and more fun than you might think!
If you’re ready to feel good about moving your body and finally make real and lasting change, drop a ✨ below and I’ll get you the info!
