Norovirus Is Surging Again in Denver

🚨 AFC Urgent Care Denver is seeing an increase in Norovirus (“Stomach Flu”) cases this season.

Norovirus is highly contagious and spreads quickly during the winter months.

Common symptoms include:
• Sudden vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Stomach cramps
• Nausea, mild fever, body aches
Symptoms usually appear 12–48 hours after exposure and may last 1–3 days.

How to help prevent the spread:
🧼 Wash hands with soap and water
🏠 Stay home while sick and for 48 hours after symptoms stop
🧽 Disinfect high-touch surfaces
