Exciting advances in pediatric robotic surgery! Dr. Steven Rothenberg recently performed the first robotic pediatric surgery at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s using the first pediatric surgical robot in the United States. The first patient, 16-year-old Reven Alt underwent gallbladder surgery with minimal scarring and a speedy recovery—he was back enjoying homecoming just days later! 🎉

With less tissue damage, fewer long-term risks, and faster recovery, this technology is set to revolutionize pediatric surgery.

Ruff day? Here's something that will surely brighten it up!

? HealthONE has a successful animal therapy program that serves thousands of patients and colleagues. Our therapy animals have their own badges and even earn anniversary pins for their years of service. Our four-legged colleagues have brought smiles to so many, including ill children, grieving parents, doctors and care teams.

This Dog Day, we say thank you to our therapy dogs for bringing smiles and “pawsitivity” to those who cross their paths!
