At our 3rd annual community building event, DFX: A Bright Future, we are thrilled to be honoring Dr. Randi J. Hagerman with the DFX HUG award for Heart, Understanding, and Generosity.
Dr. Hagerman is the director of the Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (MIND) Institute at the University of California-Davis , a researcher in autism and other neurodevelopmental differences, a distinguished professor of pediatrics, and known across the globe for her groundbreaking work on Fragile X syndrome.
This award marks a lovely full circle moment for DFX, as Dr. Hagerman has been a mentor and colleague to since her time at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the MIND Institute. Our 2024 HUG honoree, Dr. Nicole Tartaglia, will join us to present the 2025 award.
