Colorado once again remains ahead of all of the United States in the science and spiritual connection to Nature’s continuing healing medicines. Contrary to popular belief, ketamine does not occur naturally in the human body. However, it is found naturally in certain plants and animal species.

One plant species that naturally produces ketamine is the Acacia species, commonly found in Africa and Australia. The bark of these trees contains various alkaloids, including ketamine, which are thought to help protect the plant from predators. Indigenous tribes have traditionally used these plants for their psychoactive properties, often in spiritual and religious ceremonies.

Acacia trees have a long history of traditional use by indigenous cultures. The alkaloids found in the bark, including ketamine, have been used for centuries in various healing rituals.
