🎹 Meet the band! One of the performers for our Jazz Event will be Jake Malone-Brancato playing piano as he accompanies fellow board member Claire Lucas on vocals.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Jake Malone-Brancato is an active member, composer, and educator in the Denver music community playing a variety of jazz, pop, and classical piano professionally. He is a graduate of The State University of New York at Buffalo, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2014. Jake has experience teaching and leading adaptive lessons for adults and young students with disabilities.

Currently, Jake is the Life Enrichment Director of a skilled nursing community in Lakewood, Colorado. In this position, Jake can spread his love of music and play piano for the elders of the community. When not teaching or performing, Jake spends time composing original music for himself and for a quintet called the Jay/Sharp-Tet. Their debut album was released in May of 2022 and contains some of Jake’s original compositions. Jake’s mission and passion is to instill a love of music in students of all skill levels and ages. He believes that whoever is interested in learning music should have the ability to access this special experience.

Please try to attend this special show June 4th, from 3:30pm-5:00pm at Shalom Park. Link for tickets is below!

Join the Colorado Culture Change Coalition (CCCC) June 4th to enjoy a live jazz performance, snacks, and a silent auction to help raise money to support our mission/vision, ‘To elevate elderhood, while thriving in home and community’ through person-directed initiatives.
In 1977, Barry Barkan and the Live Oak Regenerative Community defined an “Elder” as: “An Elder is a person who is still growing, still a learner, still with potential and whose life continues to have within it promise for, and connection to the future. An Elder is still in pursuit of happiness, joy, and pleasure, and her or his birthright to these remains intact. Moreover, an Elder is a person who deserves respect and honor and whose work is to synthesize wisdom from long life experience and formulate this into a legacy for future generations.”
After all, your ability to thrive is only limited by your curiosity!
Ticket sales are open now! Silent Auction opens on May 26th. We hope to see you there!”
