“But how much do you cost?”💰

When people who are interested in working with me send me a message asking about how much it costs to work with me, I always say “It depends.”

👉🏼 It depends what your goals are and where you’re at in relation to where you want to be.
👉🏼 It depends what kind of services you’ll need to get you to where you want to be.
👉🏼 And it depends how long it’s going to take to get you to where you want to be.

Think about it this way: 🚗 Your car keeps breaking down so you take it to a mechanic and ask them “How much will it cost?”

And what do mechanics usually say?...

📣 “Well, it depends. We’ll need to inspect your car and see what’s going on first, then we can determine what it may need to get it back into working condition. From there, we can provide an estimate based on supplies and labor needed.”

In high school, I used to be terrified of the weight room. 😳

At the time, I played volleyball and basketball outside of Atlanta (hometown), and while our coach encouraged us to train, the weight room still felt like a boys’ club. 🏀 🏐

Back in the millennium, weight training was basically reserved for male athletes and star players - and while I was captain of the JV basketball team, I spent a lot of time riding the bench on Varsity. 😶

One day before practice, I remember joining the team for weight training. 🏋🏼‍♀️

I stepped up to the bench press and couldn’t even handle the bar. At 120 lbs and 16 years old, I felt so weak, embarrassed, out of place, and like I didn’t belong there.

Fast forward 20 years later…

✅ I’ve lost 30 lbs naturally
✅ I’m back at my high school weight
✅ I’ve built a strong, lean, defined physique
✅ And I’m stronger than I’ve ever been

What’s wild is that the 16-year-old girl who was once scared of the barbell now trains other women (and men!) how to feel powerful, capable, and confident.

And not just in the gym, but in their bodies too.

🐎 “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink” 

… unless they’re one of my clients… then they dive in headfirst and chug that sh*t like it’s happy hour. 😂

Real talk: I coach the kind of people who are DONE waiting.

Got all dressed up… for a festival that didn’t exist.

Yup. We got the date wrong. 😅

I had makeup on, a cute outfit, we were feelin’ ourselves… and then rolled up to a very empty venue. 🎪

Was I bummed? Of course. No one likes getting dressed up for nothing.

But one thing I’ve been working on lately is my PERSPECTIVE.

And not the kind of “good vibes only” stuff we grew up hearing from our boomer parents who used toxic positivity as a life strategy (but I digress). 🙃

I’m talking real, grounded, adult perspective.

So yeah, I let myself feel the disappointment for a sec, then we pivoted.

I suggested getting pizza, oysters, and Caesar salad at the same restaurant where we had our very first date over 4 years ago (my “treat meal” for the week… clients IYKYK). 🥹 🍕

The same thing happened the other night too…

It was 9PM on a weekday, I was still working on my deck, giving training feedback to clients from my phone. 

I was like “WTF, it’s so late.”

Then I stopped myself and thought about how wonderful it is that I get to do work I love, in a business I built from the ground up, from a sunlit deck at sunset, in fresh air, helping people transform their lives, their health, and their bodies. 💗

Lately, I’ve been flipping the script more and more because here’s the cheesy truth:

👉 Life is always gonna be life-ing.

👉 Sh*t is gonna go wrong sometimes.

👉 But you can choose the lens you see it through.

And honestly? I choose one that helps me feel better. 

Lighter. Happier. Hotter. Stronger. 😏

Speaking of…

The body I’m in now is 30 lbs lighter, my legs and arms are toned, my energy is sky high, and my confidence is on fire. 🔥

I’m a certified Nutrition Coach, an amateur chef, and am a big believer in fueling your body properly. I’ve spent my entire life diving into food, whether dissecting the nutrition of each meal, testing and treating personal food sensitivities, or leveraging certain strategies for reaching new goals. Most importantly, I don’t believe in diets, but rather, in sustainable nutrition strategies that break the cycle of deprivation, yo-yo dieting and the weight gain game.
