PSA: Goat Walkabouts can now fling poo all over your yard if you live in Colorado. Food Garden? Flowers? Lawn? This fertilizer works just like it is intended to!

Research goat manure. Goat manure pellets are considered a "cold" manure, meaning they are less likely to burn plants than chicken or horse manure and can technically be used fresh.

However, for best results—especially for vegetable gardens—composting for at least a few months is recommended to kill w**d seeds and pathogens. The goats take care of some of that process and we take care of the rest at our HQ. We have some fresh compost ready.

PSA: Important Update from RMGY

Dear friends and supporters,

Goat yoga has been a wonderful part of our journey for the past 8.5 years. I have hand-raised every goat in our program and kept them all because I love them.

We’re at a different place now, and my focus has shifted. The novelty aspect of RMGY will take a back seat as we center our efforts on therapy, ambassadorship, advocacy, and responsible stewardship in our program.

I’m scaling back goat yoga and shifting toward fire mitigation and therapy in memory care through the Goat Walkabouts organization and its trade names. This is how our herds can best serve the community and honor my parents in my work. I trust this new path will be financially sustainable beyond the trends of goat yoga.

When times were good, I invested in our community. Today, I don’t have the means to maintain the full goat-yoga operations or hire dedicated RM GY personnel, and I don’t want to stretch our resources thin. I’m changing as a person, and I don’t want to disappoint anyone, but I’m uncomfortable continuing in this direction.

Goat yoga has been a meaningful stepping stone, and we’ll still host events—though far less frequently. This isn’t just a novelty exhibition. Self-enrichment has never been my primary goal; I’ve always envisioned a program that endures beyond me. I’ve worked hard to build and sustain our organizations while growing personally. This program has been part of my healing.

I feel more complete working in natural habitats with goats who aren’t “perfectly cute” but who contribute in meaningful ways. We may expand our rescue efforts, but I must keep our herds steady and support the A-team to cover operating costs outside the goat-yoga program. The costs and demands aren’t always understood, but I do understand them.

We have a divine mission and a journey ahead. Our community has been invaluable in preparing us for our true purpose. I appreciate your patience and dedication. I’ll stay focused on the goal, and I welcome any support—whether a kind word, a comment, or a donation to our new program. It’s all love.
