Sleep plays a critical role in behavior and mental health—especially for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Poor sleep can often show up as aggression, anxiety, or inattention during the day, and medication alone rarely resolves these challenges without supportive routines and environments.
Join us for this month’s Denver START Clinical Education Training (CET), where we’ll explore the connection between sleep, behavior, and mental health.

Clinicians, nurses, direct support professionals, behavior specialists, and residential staff are invited to learn how to assess sleep concerns, identify contributing factors, and implement practical, prevention-focused strategies.

One of the important roles RMHS case managers fill is helping older adults and individuals with long-term care needs in our community access the supports they rely on.

Called Non-I/DD Case Managers, these team members serve as the primary point of contact for members receiving long-term services, verifying eligibility, coordinating providers, and responding to complex needs with care and professionalism.
