✨ 14 Years of Impact, One Powerful Night ✨
More than 400 residents, leaders, and changemakers came together at the 14th Annual be well Awards & Community Celebration to honor those advancing health equity across Colorado.
We celebrated 75 youth and adult honorees, recognized grassroots leaders tackling barriers to health, awarded the be well Legacy Award to Dr. Vern Howard, and witnessed the power of community connection in action - from Block Captains completing training to future Community Health Workers preparing for certification.
The evening also featured a panel with 11 elected officials, moderated by SVP of the Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities and the Executive Director of be well, Alisha Brown, discussing community needs, resident voices in policy, and ways to advance health equity. And exciting news, be well is applying to become its own 501(c)(3)!
With inspiring voices, meaningful dialogue, and unforgettable moments, the night was a true reflection of what’s possible when communities come together to be well. 💚
