Governor's Park Chiropractic is excited to announce that we will soon be offering a new service, Normatec Air Compression Technology at all three of our locations.

Normatec Air Compression Technology is an excellent way to boost your body’s recovery after a heavy day of work, athletic activity or to add in conjunction with your routine chiropractic care.

The veins within our body work as a one-way valve system and rely heavily on muscular contractions to keep the blood flowing properly. Due to the nature of many of our jobs, we are commonly standing on our feet for long hours of the day or sitting with little to no movement. Without this movement and contraction of our muscles, the blood in our veins tends to pool causing edema, varicose veins, peripheral neuropathy, and a multitude of other symptoms.

Normatec Air Compression Technology helps pump pooling blood into different portions of your body to help it make its way back to your heart. Normatec works by slowly filling several air pockets throughout its sleeves and increasing pressure surrounding your extremities starting from the hands/feet up. We will have full body compression sleeves (legs, hips/low back, and arms) available for our patients to utilize at their upcoming appointments.

This gradual increase in pressure helps flush toxins, inflammatory cells, and damaged tissue out of our extremities to allow it to properly get filtered throughout our body as well as decrease any symptoms you may be experiencing.
