Thank you to the Colorado Bat Crew for coming to present to the children of Purple Moon ELC yesterday in association with their Storybook Journey for Stella Luna . The children enjoyed an interactive presentation including facts about bats, an echo-location demonstration, and a "Where is my mum," scent related game. They loved it!

Teachers at PMELC must love kids! Our teachers work as a team with a co-teacher. Teachers provide a home away from home for children in our program, meaning schedules are relaxed and activities adapted to the needs of the children. Teachers must adapt emergent curriculum using the Storybook Journey for maximum child engagement. An appreciation of nature and the natural world are desired for this position.

Congratulations to our Pre-K students! We held our graduation celebration yesterday and our young grads enjoyed dancing to some Ghanaian drumming. Sound on! We wish them all the best at Kindergarten. Thank you to our special guest Debbie Tuttle, Director of Economic Development for the City of Northglenn and Cheif Jim May with Northglenn Police Dept for celebrating with us. 🎉

Two pirates and a cook on our Pirate Ship. Dramatic play for our Storybook Journey about Pirates was a huge hit with the 4 and 5 -year-olds of our Vega classroom.
