Today we celebrated Janet’s birthday with a very special sweet treat😊 The Chick fil a cow came in to visit and brought all of our residents milkshakes!!! The smiles on their faces were priceless. Having the residents prepare their own snacks encourages independence and supports their sense of self-reliance. It provides an opportunity for them to engage in meaningful activity, maintain daily living skills, and take pride in their ability to care for themselves in a safe and supportive environment. And who doesn’t love a good snack🤷‍♀️☺️
