💡 What is PASA? 💡
PASA stands for Program Approved Service Agency — and that’s exactly what All for Kids is! 🙌

Being a PASA means we are certified by the state to provide home and community-based services to families of children with special needs. Through PASA, families can access programs like IHSS and CNA, helping parents or loved ones become paid caregivers for the care they already provide. 💛

✨ At AFK, we guide you every step of the way so your family feels supported, empowered, and cared for.

Meet Chase 💙 He’s 11 years old, living with CP and epilepsy, and one of the amazing kids in our AFK family. His parents shared how much All for Kids Home Health means to them — the care, the support, and the peace of mind it brings. ✨

At AFK, we believe families deserve to be supported, not stressed. That’s why we empower parents and loved ones to be caregivers and help them get paid for the care they already provide. 🙌

If you or someone you know is caring for a medically fragile child, we’re here to help. 💛 Contact us today to learn more or visit allforkidshealth.com

This weekend we were honored to sponsor and attend LuBird’s Light Foundation’s Family Fun Day & Fundraiser 💜✨

At AFK, we know it makes a huge difference when organizations not only talk the talk but also walk the walk. Many of our amazing staff members—including our CEO—are parents of children with special needs. We understand firsthand the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where every child is treated like family and given the chance to thrive. 🫶

LuBird’s Light Foundation is making that vision a reality with projects like the LuBird’s Light Playground at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora. With over 74,000 kids with disabilities in Colorado, inclusive playgrounds aren’t just “nice to have”—they’re essential.

We’re proud to support their mission to build extraordinary, one-of-a-kind spaces where kids of all abilities can play, laugh, and belong. 🌟

Our CEO and staff had an absolute blast over the weekend attending the Anchor Center for Blind Children Annual Fundraiser.

Anchor Center supports young children with visual impairments in reaching their highest potential through education and intervention services for children birth to 5 years old.

At AFK, we believe in supporting our community. We treat our special needs families like we are family!

Our 2025 Sunset in the City Gala would not be possible without the incredible generosity of our sponsors. Your support helps Anchor Center for Blind Children continue providing life-changing programs and services for young children with visual impairments and their families.

🌍❤️ September 7th is World Duchenne Awareness Day ❤️🌍

Today we shine a light on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) — a rare, progressive genetic disorder that primarily affects boys and leads to severe muscle weakness and loss of mobility over time.

🧬 What to know about DMD:

Affects 1 in 5,000 live male births

Symptoms often appear between ages 3–6

Most boys with DMD become wheelchair-dependent by age 12

With advancements in care, many now live into their 30s

💡 Why today matters:
DMD is caused by mutations in the DMD gene on the X chromosome, preventing the body from making dystrophin, a protein that protects muscle cells. Without dystrophin, muscle cells weaken and break down.

🌟 There is hope:

Gene therapy and new treatments like givinostat are showing promise

Early, multidisciplinary care (physical therapy, heart and lung monitoring, respiratory support) greatly improves quality of life

Community support & advocacy from organizations like the Muscular Dystrophy Association provide resources, research, and hope for families

💛 How you can help today:
✨ Learn and share the facts about DMD
✨ Support research and advocacy groups working toward a cure
✨ Show solidarity by posting a photo, sharing this message, and spreading awareness

Together, we can create a brighter future for those living with Duchenne. 💪
