People living with HIV are living longer than ever—and Colorado Health Network is helping ensure they age with dignity, support, and the care they deserve.

Through programs like PATH2Wellness and the iCHANGE Project, CHN is integrating geriatric-informed care into HIV services, helping identify age-related health needs, reduce isolation, and improve quality of life for older adults living with HIV.

This innovative work is positioning CHN as a national leader in healthy aging with HIV.

Protecting public health means protecting our shared spaces.

On February 13, Colorado Health Network’s Access Point Pueblo team partnered with local leaders in Trinidad to safely remove improperly discarded syringes and litter along the Purgatoire River and Cimino Park. The team collected and safely disposed of 18 syringes—helping reduce risk and keep community spaces safe for everyone.

This is harm reduction in action: showing up, caring for our communities, and working together to build safer, healthier environments across Southern Colorado.

🎉 Great news! A federal court has granted a Temporary Restraining Order preventing the CDC from terminating critical HIV prevention funding in Colorado, Illinois, California, and Minnesota. This is a huge first win — thanks to Attorney General Phil Weiser and our partner states for fighting to protect the health of our communities. And thank you to Governor Jared Polis for his leadership in ensuring Coloradans can stay protected.
We’re not done yet, but today we celebrate a victory that keeps lifesaving programs running. 💪❤️

Colorado Health Network CEO Darrell Vigil has issued a statement regarding proposed federal funding cuts to CDC-supported HIV prevention programs.

These cuts could significantly impact HIV and STI testing capacity, PrEP access, and public health outcomes across Colorado. Prevention programs are a critical component of reducing transmission and improving long-term health equity.
