I graduated from Colorado State University with my B.A. in Technical Journalism and completed my M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education with an emphasis on Couples and Family Counseling at the University of Colorado, Denver. My focus and passion is working with children, adolescents and their families. As a teenager, my life was changed by working with a therapist with whom I felt a true connection and understanding. I continually strive to provide that same safe space for my clients of all ages.Understanding that each client is the expert when it comes to their life, I provide a space designed to empower my clients to gain greater health and well-being in their life. In session, I take a systemic and strengths based approach. I find great value in exploring the mind/body connection and helping my clients heal through working within an integrated therapeutic approach. I am committed to helping my clients recognize their strengths and reach their goals by collaborating with them and their families. Services:

Therapeutic Approach:
I take an integrated approach to counseling and believes that each person has the power to change their own life. Your therapeutic experience will include a combination of experiential, cognitive behavioral, family systems and strength based approaches to counseling. Mindfulness and the mind-body connection is an integral part of my practice. I can provide accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emerging or existing conditions with matching therapeutic treatment plans. I am passionate about the therapeutic process. I believe that it gives one choices to live life authentically and with purpose. Therapy can change the landscape of an individual, a coupleship, or even an entire family, opening the doors of healthy communication, problem solving and creating pathways for dreams to become realities.
