New Cycle info !!!

Strength Goals:
Monday - some agility work = ladders, hurdles and bounds. Followed up with heavier/lower rep power clean work
Tuesday - heavy push press with rebounding work
Wednesday - back squats = low rep heavy tempo + some moderate volume/moderate loading
Thursday- rope climb technique work and building some volume. Looking to improve efficiency as well as strength/muscular endurance
Friday - starting with some jump work each day, then followed up with DB RFESS for volume more than weight

Metcon Focuses:

Mondays: Sub 10 speed
Tuesdays: 12-15 min mixed modal/Murph work
Wednesdays: Work/Rest, lower body focus
Thursdays: 15-20 mins/Murph prep
Fridays: Chipper
Saturdays: Long Partner

Are you tired of hating running workouts? Do you dread workouts with running or biking or rowing (or all the above)? Have you always wanted to improve your aerobic capacity but never know what to do? Do you want to sign up for a running race or Hyrox in the future? Well then Run Club is for YOU!

What:
- Run Club is a 6-week long program starting the week of April 13th and finishing May 21st
- This is a 3-day/week program specifically focused on improving your 5K run time, while also improving overall aerobic capacity.
- Translation: You’re going to get really freaking fit!

Training Schedule:
- Each week consists of 3 training days:
- One day will focus on machine intervals.
- The other two days will be running-focused.
In Person Group Runs:
- Thursdays at 4pm at Wash Park for a longer, time-based run/walk.
- Sundays at 9am at Omnia to focus on faster running intervals

Cost: The cost of the program is $75 - and you will receive a limited-edition Run Club hat with your signup!
*This program is perfect for anyone who wants to get more comfortable running or simply be a better athlete. Whether you currently run all the time, or you avoid running like the plague, this program is for you!

Trivia is THIS SATURDAY!! WOOO

Sign up as an individual or with a partner (sign up on the whiteboard at the gym!)
- You (and your partner) will be randomly placed to a team of 6-8 people
- There will be 4-5 rounds of trivia questions
- + 4-5 rounds of games. Think “Minute to Win It” style games.
- We will provide some light snacks but BYOB and/or food is always recommended
- ***if you have some chairs of your own you can bring, that would be helpful!
- Feel free to sign up with your significant other, partner, or a friend even if they aren’t a member
- Children are welcome
- Note: we would like to START at 6pm so doors will be open at 5:45pm
