Last Writes of Passage

We work with families and patrons to co-create a personalized funeral service or memorial that reflects the authentic person that this person was while living among us. For me being a Life-Cycle Celebrant® is about listening to what my families and loved ones want as a final send-off. I conduct an interview with as many family members in one place face to face or via a conference call, and many other social media to answer questions and talk about the deceased. I do not just tell a story, but I try to add some meaning that comes from my ability to see patterns and listen beyond the words in my interviews. Your loved one should not be talked about by someone who knows just what is on the obituary, but someone trained to listen and write about the real person, all facets of them. Funeral celebrations need need some humor to aid in the healing process, and to hold ones grief at a distance if only for a few minutes. I can help with the arrangements and work with the Funeral Directors, or a Pastors, as long as an in depth story is told to those who may not know your loved one very well, then mission accomplished. Celebrants spend 10 plus hours on the writing and research alone, the interviews and any consultations still maintain market value, and generally much less than typical funeral. also do Pet Memorials.
