Some work changes people slowly.
Some work changes people deeply.
This week (actually, this evening) I begin looking for my horses to eventually become part of the immersive healing work I’ve envisioned for years—work centered around presence, nervous system safety, resilience, deeper emotional processing, and the kind of insight that often cannot be reached through words alone.
Not every horse is suited for this kind of work. And not every space is either.
I’m taking my time building this intentionally.
This is not a shingle on a barn door calling itself “therapy.”
As both a Doctor of Performance Psychology and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with thousands of clinical hours, years of trauma and relational work, advanced equine psychotherapy training, and a deep respect for both the healing process and the horses involved in it, I am building something immersive, intentional, clinically grounded, and deeply transformative.
This is not your typical 60-minute therapy session. Those sessions will remain in my lovely, calm, brick n mortar or virtual office spaces.
The work will be selective.
Clients will be intentional.
These will be half, full, and even mutual day intensives.
The process will be deliberate.
Built slowly. Built carefully. Built with purpose.
This is going to be exceptional.
