Great time seeing my mentors and huge champions of my book, Drs. Ellyn Bader and Peter Pearson at our annual mentor meeting.

They are both leaders in the field of relationship therapy and founders of the Developmental Model. They are writing about work with gay couples back in the 80s when that was unheard of by many in the profession. They are all allies through and through. And they lead by example.

I can’t believe we’re still fighting this battle. Whatever the Supreme Court decides, this is a practice that is dangerous and harmful.

It’s hard enough to grow up LGBTQ+ in this country, without the added burden that you could be physically tortured by a “therapist.”

Come at me with your free speech, argument, but therapists who use this despicable practice should lose their license immediately.

Our Story

There are many reasons people seek therapy. My experience with psychotherapy includes work with individuals, adolescents, couples and families in a variety of settings. There are benefits to short and long-term work, depending on your goals and needs. My approach is warm and compassionate. As an integrative therapist, the sessions are tailored to the person sitting in front of me. A variety of different therapeutic orientations have influenced me, including humanistic, relational, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral. Together we will work on creating an environment that is safe enough for you to begin your healing process. Choosing a therapist is a meaningful decision and it is important to find the right fit.
