We're a small community mental health center in the Capitol Hill area of Denver, CO. Our staff is passionate about meeting you where you're at and providing dependable and ongoing support, whether that is short-term or long-term. Our mission is to transform lives by providing supportive member-centered, culturally responsive mental health, wellness, and recovery services. We have opportunities for clients — who we refer to as “members”— to get involved with advocacy, and to have a direct role in governing the organization. We also offer skills training, an employment program, and a speaker series where members can share their stories. At our Heartland Clinic location, we offer outpatient mental health services for adults over the age of 18. We accept Medicaid (Health First Colorado) and provide:
- individual counseling
- medication management
- therapeutic groups
- monitoring overall health
Our Drop-In Center, located at 920 Emerson St, Denver, is open to all adults on the path toward mental wellness regardless of where they receive mental health care, and includes:
- food & clothing banks
- computers & Internet access
- peer support
- groups & recreational activities
We used to be known as CHARG Resource Center and recently changed our name. Learn more at www.heartlandmentalhealth.org/blog.
