TESTIMONY OF A 45-YEAR-OLD NEW JERSEY WOMAN WHO BECAME FREE FROM CROHN’S DISEASE
It’s 2025, and I’m stepping into a new chapter — medication-free and in remission.
This space is where I’ll share my journey toward full healing while keeping myself accountable along the way. Here’s what you can expect:
Medications: Repurposed and alternative medications
Health: Nutrition, meals, and meal prep
Fitness: Workouts and lifting routines
Mind: The mind-body connection and inner child work
If you’re new here and just stumbled across this page, welcome!
A little about me: In 2019, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and spent much of my life in and out of hospitals. Honestly, those years are a blur — my body was stuck in survival mode.
Within a year of my diagnosis, I underwent chemotherapy infusions and exploratory surgery, during which part of my colon, a section of my small intestine, and my appendix were removed. I came home with 27 staples down my abdomen and, shortly after, battled both E. coli and MRSA infections in my surgical wound.
Fast forward several years: after countless colonoscopies and infusions, I met Nurse Kerrie, and with the help of alternative and repurposed medications — along with a combination of different healing approaches — my journey began to change.
This is my story, and I’m glad you’re here.
If you’re navigating life with an autoimmune condition, know this: you are not alone. It can be overwhelming, exhausting, and even debilitating — but there is hope.
Let’s heal together.
