Practice Information

Nadine Ryser holds a master’s in clinical psychology earned from Argosy University in Orange County, CA (the American School of Professional Psychology). Nadine started her graduate career as a PsyD candidate. However, after successfully completing her first two years of the program (to include training in psychodiagnostic testing), there was an unplanned hiatus in her graduate career. She resumed her studies, but elected to conclude her graduate career with a master’s in clinical psychology versus a PsyD. Through the course of her experiences, Nadine has remained skilled and inspired to integrate her training and knowledge of neurology (to include neurofeedback) into her practice. Nadine specializes in trauma-informed care, substance abuse, life-transition difficulties, anxiety, PTSD, and depression. In addition, Nadine specializes in family systems work and counseling services for couples in the LGBT community.

Nadine is described as warm, direct, empathic, and passionate clinician in all of her therapeutic work. Her approach is rooted from a psychodynamic and a humanistic lens. She will utilize ACT, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing (MI) in her client-centered therapeutic approach. She is committed to helping others overcome obstacles that have prevented them from living life to its full, healthy, and stable potential. Nadine strives to instill hope and is committed to guide and support clients to a life that is more balanced and fulfilling through their course of receiving psychotherapy services.
