Tiffany is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. She received her Master of Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College where she completed a 3.5 year educational program including over 700 hours of clinical practice. Tiffany’s passion for health and wellness began at a young age, she has a Bachelors degree from the University of Iowa in Psychology and Nutrition, with a minor in Exercise Science, she is also a certified yoga teacher. She discovered acupuncture when she had an injury in undergraduate college leading to extensive orthopedic surgeries. She sought out acupuncture for pain relief and after experiencing the benefits of acupuncture herself, she knew that she had to pursue a career in this medicine. She fell in love with the approach of Chinese medicine in treating the body and mind as a whole, rather than a category of symptoms.
Tiffany takes an individualized and diverse approach to treatment by combining techniques of Chinese medicine with modern Western systems of sports medicine and orthopedics. She specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. She develops a personalized treatment through manual muscle testing and orthopedic evaluation for pain relief, injury recovery, and athletic performance. She utilizes a variety of therapies such as motor points needling, trigger point needling, injection therapy, cupping, E-Stim, guasha, and moxibustion.
With a background in Psychology, Tiffany is passionate about treating mental and emotional health such as anxiety, insomnia, depression, and PTSD. She treats a variety of other conditions including digestion, women’s health & fertility, headaches/migraines, and she is certified in Microneedling and facial rejuvenation acupuncture. Tiffany is committed to nurturing patient well-being and facilitating balance through a mind-body-spirit connection.
Tiffany has a great love of the outdoors and Colorado sunshine. When she isn’t treating patients, you will find her enjoying the many outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, such as hiking, biking, skiing, and practicing yoga.
