Yesterday was the 100 year anniversary of Black History Month, despite limited recognition from corporations or political leaders, it's inspiring to understand its evolution from a week of learning in the 1920's to a month-long celebration currently. This milestone reminds us that education, empathy, and acknowledgment of our shared history are crucial to our collective progress. The resilience of an entire ethnicity, forcibly brought to this country and exploited for generations, is a testament to the human spirit. Though we may not have played a part in those injustices, we can all contribute to a brighter future by learning from the past and working together towards a more compassionate society. By embracing our imperfections, fostering empathy, and striving for improvement, we can create a better world, one that learns from its mistakes and values the dignity of all people. Education, awareness, empathy and compassion are the keys to changing this world and especially this country. (The attached image is AI)
