Due to the injury recovery process taking far longer than anticipated the painful decision has been made to suspend operations until after my final surgery is authorized and completed and I am released from physical therapy.

For all my existing clients whom have long since been aware, this announcement is a formality and I will honor any incomplete classes as soon as I am able. For any potential future clients, if you are still interested in working with me I will post updates and announce when I'm available for classes again so please check back regularly. Thank you to everyone who has come to me for your training needs; it is an honor to instruct you.

As an organization specializing in health and safety, teaching awareness and how to properly interact is something we strive to lead by example in how we teach and interact.

As such, we have modified training programs which meet our high training standards while providing you, the student, with the opportunity to learn real-time the importance of proper patient interaction and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when practicing Universal Precautions and Body Substance Isolation (BSI).

When considering CPR, AED, and First Aid training in the workplace, it is important to know the OSHA regulations (as they say, "If you think OSHA is a small town in Wisconsin, you're in biiiig trouble").

OSHA standard for first aid training in general industry, 29 CFR 1910.151(b), provides:

"In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available."

OSHA has long interpreted the term "near proximity" to mean that emergency care must be available within no more than 3-4 minutes from the workplace, an interpretation that has been upheld by the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission and by federal courts.
